Matthew was born in Saskatchewan and attended the University of Saskatchewan for both medical school and residency. Upon finishing residency in 2019, he moved to Kelowna, where he has been practicing family medicine ever since. He has a special interest in minor procedures. The Okanagan lifestyle has suited him well, and he has enjoyed making Kelowna his home.

Pieter was born and raised in South Africa, where he studied medicine at the University of Stellenbosch. He moved to Canada in 2014, working in rural and remote areas of Saskatchewan. In 2020, he relocated to the warmer climate of the Okanagan. When he’s not with his patients, Pieter enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with friends and family.

Stefan grew up in South Africa and attended the University of Pretoria. After getting married, he and his wife decided to move to Canada. Over the past 16 years, he has gained extensive experience in family practice, hospital work, long-term care, and working with First Nations communities. Now, he is embracing life in Kelowna and is looking forward to establishing his family practice at Lilium Medical Clinic.

Johan graduated from the University of Pretoria in South-Africa. He was a full time ER physician for 2 years, before relocating to Canada in 2008. He practiced full scope family and emergency medicine in Saskatchewan, before relocating to Kelowna with his wife and 2 sons in 2017. Johan is currently furthering his study in musculoskeletal medicine and illness prevention.

Hayley has been dedicated to healthcare since she was 18, beginning her career as a care aide right out of high school. After welcoming her fourth son, she returned to school to pursue her MOA/Unit Clerk certification, graduating with honors. In 2016, she moved from the Kootenays to Kelowna, where her professional journey continued. She started working as an Administrative Assistant at a family practice and quickly advanced to the role of Medical Office Assistant (MOA). Her hard work and dedication were recognized, and within a year, she was promoted to Head MOA and affectionately became known as the “mini manager”. Known for her friendly, welcoming, and kind nature, Hayley brings warmth and humor to any environment, making her not just a valuable colleague but a joy to work with.
Lauren
Medical Office Assistant
Lauren, a proud Vernon native, spent 15 years in Edmonton before returning to the beautiful Okanagan, where she has been happily settled for almost eight years. She returned to the Okanagan to be closer to her family, including her parents and her two adorable nieces and nephews. A devoted fan of both the Oilers and Canucks, Lauren finds herself in a yearly sports dilemma that keeps her friends entertained. Though often playfully labeled a "cat lady," she currently shares her home with just two feline companions—at least for now! With her vibrant personality and passion for family, Lauren brings a fun and friendly spirit to her professional endeavors.

Montana was born in Calgary, though she spent the majority of her upbringing in British Columbia (BC). At the age of 18, she made the decision to pursue a career in healthcare. She has since completed her certifications as both a Medical Office Assistant (MOA)/Unit Clerk and a Resident Care Aide (RCA), dedicating nearly a decade to these fields. Montana has gained extensive experience working in various locations across BC, including Vancouver Island and several communities in the Interior. Three years ago, she relocated to Kelowna and has grown to truly appreciate the area. In her free time, Montana enjoys the companionship of her two pets: Ariel, a 6.5-year-old Dutch Shepherd, and Peaches, a 13.5-year-old red Sun Conure. Both pets are known for their unique personalities, which Montana cherishes.

Administrative Coordinator
Madison is finishing her doctorate degree at the University of British Columbia Okanagan, focusing on program development and healthcare system navigation for people living with dementia and their care partners. While doing so, she contributes her expertise by providing behind-the-scenes administrative support to Lilium Medical Clinic. Outside of her professional commitments, Madison is an avid adventurer who enjoys exercising, snowboarding, reading, and spending quality time with friends and family.
